We are people who are striving to become closer to Jesus Christ one degree at a time. We believe that whether you have never stepped foot inside a church building, or have been a follower of Jesus your whole life, you belong! We all have an opportunity to make a small decision today, which will greatly impact our tomorrow.

Why "One Degree"?
Our goal is to grow in our faith "one degree" at a time. 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV says, "We are all...being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another...this comes from the Lord"
Why another church in Mora?
We have found that if every church in Mora were filled to capacity on a Sunday, there would still be people left standing outside. We are looking to minister to those who do not have a church they call home.

Rev. Jesse Doughty ("Doughty" rhymes with "Howdy") is the Lead Pastor of One Degree Church. He is ordained in the C&MA and holds his Master's Degree in Christian Studies. He is also a General Contractor in Mora, and owns JD Carpentry Co. Jesse is married to Angie, a Mora native, and have four kids: Natalie, Victoria, Lily, & Levi.
Why an evening service?
Our goal is to be different from, and not in competition with, other churches in the area. Also, between sports and recreation, Sunday mornings can sometimes feel like an interruption in the weekend. We hope to be a nice transition from a great weekend into a great week!
What about babies, kids and teens?
We have a fantastic program called "Discovery Land" (or "DL") for kids in K-5th grades. This is a teaching time that takes place during our Sunday service. Because we are small and just starting out, we do not yet have volunteers for nursery of youth group, but we do plan on providing those in the future!
